this is an instrumental with the main tune being carried by the piano and ethereal voices .
in the simplest terms it starts with the first sequence which is

D#maj9 ( = Gm7 / D# bass ) for a couple of bars then
C#maj9 ( = Fm7 / C# bass ) for 2 bars and back to D#maj9 to repeat

there is a second sequence after a minute or so which is :
Fm9 ( = G#maj7 / F bass ) for a few bars over which the piano hits arpeggios and block Fm
and van makes some soulful ahh noises that could be misconstrued as constipation , before
back to D#maj9 .

this is repeated a few times and it then goes back to the 1st sequence
