power chords
to you folks who are afraid of barre chords , i Am assuming you mostly play a flat top .
my advice is to get a set of ernie ball super slinky pinks . if you have access to an
electric , all the better . now play your power chords like this :
F : 1 3 3 2 x x , no barre , just press the “e” bass string with your first finger . this is
as easy as playing an E chord , believe me! the minor chords require a demi – barre , but
still really easy . your aching left hand will thank you .
Fm : 1 3 3 1 x x ,
F# , F# : 2 4 4 3 x
xf#m , F#m : 2 4 4 2 x
xg : 3 5 5 4 x
xgm : 3 5 5 3 x
xg# , G# : 4 6 6 5 x
xg#m , G#m : 4 6 6 4 x
xa : 5 7 7 6 x
xam : 5 7 7 5 x
xa# , A# : 6 8 8 7 x
