Chords Manchester Orchestra - Its Okay With Me
Lyrics Manchester Orchestra - Its Okay With Me
this is one of my favorite mo songs but i couldn’t find a good tab for it . no one
on youtube even seems to play it the way andy plays it on the fourteen years of
excellence ep . so , after watching a couple videos and listening to the song A
bunch , i think i have it figured out . comment with corrections if you think something is wrong .
capo 5
intro
he plays something like this twice :
E | – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – |
B | – – – 1 – – – – – – – 1 – – – – – – – – – – – 1 – – – – – – 1 – – – – – 1 – – – – – 1 – – – – – – – |
G | – – – – – 0 – – – – – – – 0 – – – – – – – – – – – 0 – – – – – – 0 – – – – – 0 – – – – – 0 – – – – – |
D | – – – – – – 0h2 – – – – – 0h2 – 3 – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – |

E | – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – |
that’s not exactly it , but it’s kind of close . he just kinda picks around the C
chord and hammers on the second fret of the D – string . the picking pattern remains
similar for most of the song . i think that for the G chord in the verses and the
ending , you stay in the C formation and just move your top two fingers down a fret
and hammer on there .
C F C
i Am a man that does not have a way
C F C
millions of oceans can show me , you say
Am F C
we still run around like there’s no better way
F C
and i don’t stay .
C F C
so last night when you threw the glass on the wall
C F C
you realized the end would be following
Am F C
you don’t say what you mean when you need me to go
F C G C
so just know
C F C
out on the highway in the desert unknown
C F C
i’ll find a way to get back to you , though
Am F C
i still run around like i don’t have a home
F C G C G
cause even when i’m around , i’ve got no place to go
F G
and i know i’m not what you need
F C F C
but it’s okay with me , yeah it’s okay with me
F G
and i know i’m not what you need
F C F C G
but it’s okay with me , yeah it’s okay with me
C F C
so how can i tell you i need you to stay?
C F C
i’ve done it before , it don’t mean anything
Am F C
and i still wait around to see if they’ll let me go
F C
through heaven’s doors alone
F G
and i know i’m not what you need
F C F C
but it’s okay with me , yeah it’s okay with me
F G
yeah , i realize it is settling
F C F C
but it’s okay with me , yeah it’s okay with me
F G
i’m not who i’ve led you to believe
F C F C
that is okay with me , that is okay with me
F G
yeah , i realize that it is settling
F C F C
but it’s okay with me , yeah it’s okay with me
F G
cause you’re the thing that makes me settling
F C F C
so i’m okay with me , if you’re okay with me
F G
cause i know you’re not what i need
F C F C
but you’re okay with me , yeah you’re okay with me
F C F E F C G C G
