this is nice country waltz in a slow , slanted 3/4 time , emphasis on beat 1 .
strumming once on the down beat , and double strumming on beats 2+ and 3+ , thus
creating A “down , down – up , down – up” pattern .
this however is just the basic pattern and doesn’t need to be strictly adhered to .
