there are two guitars in this song alex kapranos and nick mccarthy .
this is what alex kapranos plays .
i know that some chords don’t sound right , like A5 in verse , but there is
definitely ’’major – ish’’ sound coming from alex’s guitar ( you must remember
that there are two guitars in the song ) .
during chorus alex definitely plays full A – major chord , and then i think
he realises his mistake and he changes it to A – minor just before B7 chord ,
hence the smile on nick’s face at 1 : 36 minutes of this video . in later
lines he plays A – minor .
