i believe the other tab out there had pretty much everything perfect , but the chord
progression listed can be a bit tricky for beginners .
i found that playing with a capo for this particular song is much much easier , and after
watching a live version of it , it seems this is how it was played anyway .

capo : 5th fret

intro :
Am C Dm F ( 2x )
Am C Dm F ( for this Am chord , i like strike it just once , and a bit harder to go
with the guitar riff , but not necessary )
Am C Dm F

verse : same as intro
Am C Dm F

again , you can strum harder when the riff sounds , just for a bit of variation .

bridge between these two lines :
don’t you know they’re gonna’ save my soul
( simply strum Am until the verse chord progression begins on the next line )
i can’t hang around with you like this my friend

chorus :

i set out to disappear
and out there i found a new home
but listen jack , you’re on the wrong side of the tracks
at least now i don’t have to walk it all alone
