there is a main riff that can be played over the top of the instrumental bridge
and as in intro . there are several ways to play it ,
depending on if you are playing solo acoustic or have another guitarist , however i
find it easiest to play the riff based on the Am
shape as it allows me to play it as an into and then start straight into the verse
with little effort

i feel that playing an E before going into the Am makes the transition more
prominent than from A C , but its not strictly necessary
